The Compendium of Good Practices in the Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Violent Extremist Offenders presents good and promising practices in the rehabilitation and reintegration of violent extremist offenders, while also discussing how practices related to prison regime, security, intelligence, and risk assessment can impact these two processes.
A website-based version of this work, which will be published late September 2018, will provide further elaboration and detail regarding promising practices in the areas of regime, security and intelligence, risk assessment, interventions, and community reintegration. It includes more practical tools and will be updated as new evidence becomes available.
The compendium is developed by the Global Center and authored by Christopher Dean and Eelco Kessels.
